Why Drain a Pool When You Can Puripool?
Have you ever walked into a pool store, handed them your pool water and after one test they said, “It’s time to drain your swimming pool?”
If that is the case, here are your options:
One option is to drain and refill but by using San Diego’s fill water it is already loaded with calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals so that’s not the best option. We feel that recycling your swimming pool (The Puripool Process) is the best way to lower calcium and other hardness minerals out of swimming pools. Just this past week, we were called by a customer that had calcium levels over 1500 parts per million (ppm), 5,500ppm Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Cyanuric Acid (CYA) well over 300ppm! A normal range for calcium in a swimming pool is 200-400 ppm and 30-50ppm CYA so it’s no wonder they were having issues maintaining proper chemistry in the swimming pool and why calcium was scaling their tile. For a reasonable price, we recycled his swimming pool water using our Reverse Osmosis (RO) mobile filtration system and left him with 150ppm Calcium Hardness and 30ppm CYA! If he were to drain and refill his pool the average Calcium Hardness coming out of the tap is 300 ppm and higher. Our process is quicker, safer than draining the pool and leaves our customers with the best water quality in their swimming pool. As of today, we’ve conserved more than 34 million gallons of water in the San Diego area.
