Now Recycling Pool Water in Utah

  • On August 3, 2020

The Puripool Process in Bluffdale Utah

We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our service area into Utah. We recently partnered up with Pur Pool Water who is located in Bluffdale, Utah. They will be our newest company to become a Service Provider. When we started recycling swimming pool water in San Diego about eleven years ago we were excited to expand! As a company, we sat down and discussed what we felt would be a great model for others to use in their business. We settled on the Service Provider model because it is the easiest barrier to entry into starting your own business or add to your existing business. By doing this it has allowed us to build over 30 mobile filtration trailers for you and it has also allowed you to operate this business how you choose. Since we launched the Service Provider model, we now have 22 Service Providers all over California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, and now Utah.

The Reverse Osmosis mobile filtration trailers were constructed because they solve several major issues that we are currently dealing with in many parts of the United States. They were designed to lower Calcium Hardness (CH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Cyanuric Acid (CYA) in swimming pools, and they can also help with water conservation and water quality. One of the biggest problems we all have is high levels of calcium in our tap water. The tap water is hard in Utah and over time calcium, magnesium and other hardness minerals gradually build up and start scaling the water tile line, the interior finish of the swimming pool, spillways, water features, salt chlorinators (if you have one), and filtration equipment. This happens because as water evaporates, the calcium remains in solution and increases in concentration. Typically, most pool professionals will tell you to drain and refill. The challenge with this is, not only do you fill the swimming pool back up with hard water but you also needlessly waste on average more than 20,000-gallons of water. That’s why we started manufacturing mobile filtration trailers that are equipped with Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration to lower CH, TDS, CYA, waterborne diseases, phosphates, nitrates, salts, and so much more while conserving up to 85% of the existing water in both residential and commercial swimming pools.

With that said, it is with great pleasure to announce that Jeff Halterman of Pur Pool Water, in Bluffdale, Utah, is now recycling residential and commercial swimming pool water.
